ROME (AP) -- Facing a divorce threat, Premier Silvio Berlusconi was quoted Monday as saying he doesn't know if he wants to patch up his marriage and demanding a public apology from his wife.  The billionaire media magnate's wife, actress Veronica Lario, confirmed Sunday she is seeking a divorce from Berlusconi for his constant flirtations with younger women. They have been together since 1980, married in 1990 and have three children in their twenties, but have lived separate lives for many years.

Bill Clinton is rushing to Italy to conduct mediation.

This just in, from Andrew Malcolm at the L.A. Times's Top of the Ticket:  Vice President Joe Biden, who infamously advised Americans against entering confined transportation spaces during the current swine flu outbreak, will enter the Wilmington Amtrak train station in Delaware this morning.

Just thought you'd like to be there.  But avoid sneezing.

Role reversal:   KANSAS CITY (Reuters) - Humans have it. Pigs don't. At least not yet, and U.S. pork producers are doing everything they can to make sure that the new H1N1 virus, known around the world as the "swine flu," stays out of their herds.  "That is the biggest concern, that your herd could somehow contract this illness from an infected person," said Kansas hog farmer Ron Suther, who is banning visitors from his sow barns and requiring maintenance workers, delivery men and other strangers to report on recent travels and any illness before they step foot on his property.

You'll know pigs are catching things from humans when they start suing their owners.

JEDDAH (Reuters) - "Let her get fat!" is the slogan women in Saudi Arabia are using to challenge a clampdown on female-only gyms.  Unhappy at the growing number of unlicensed female gyms, the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs recently closed two in the Red Sea city of Jeddah and one in the city of Dammam on the Gulf Arab coast for not having a license.  In response, newspaper columnists and bloggers are promoting the sarcastic line "let her get fat!" as a way of fighting back, though it is likely to be a losing battle.

Maybe the Saudis should worry about 1) what happens when the oil runs out; 2) an Iranian nuclear bomb; 3) Islamist terrorism.  Just a thought.
